Job Description
The Admissions Coordinator is responsible for assisting with the management of the Health Center admissions process and establishing effective communication between the community and referral sources. This includes direct contact with medical and business professionals to generate referral activity and solicit direct referrals.
Requirements
- Good working knowledge of Medicare Part A, certification procedures, and medical terminology.
- Associate's degree in administration or social services preferred.
- 1+ years of experience in LTC.
- Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to juggle multiple priorities.
- Excellent computer skills and knowledge of basic business computer software programs.
- Case management experience a plus.
