The Career Services Advisor supports prospective students, current students, and alumni in achieving their career and educational goals through individualized advising, group facilitation, and career programming.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of two years of experience in higher education, college recruiting, counseling, and/or career development, along with at least two years of occupational experience in a related field.
- Demonstrated success in delivering presentations, workshops, or interactive learning experiences.
- Proficiency with career development theories, job-search tools, and current labor-market trends.
- Certified Career Counselor (CCC), Certified Career Services Provider (CCSP) or Global Career Development Facilitator (GCDF) credential strongly preferred; a master’s degree in counseling or a related field, or equivalent qualifications, may also be considered.
