Job Description
The Fraunhofer Society is seeking a Student Assistant in Modeling and Simulation of Production Facilities. The successful candidate will work on developing machine-related methods and solutions for Industry 4.0, focusing on physics-based simulation tools and software for virtual commissioning. The role involves modeling and simulating technical systems, with a focus on electromechanical plant components and production facilities.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology or comparable subjects
- Fluent German or English language skills in word and script
- High level of self-initiative and teamwork
- Analytical thinking, motivation, and enthusiasm for interdisciplinary tasks
- Experience in modeling and simulating technical systems
- Basic understanding of the electromechanical design of production machines
- Programming knowledge is an advantage
