Praktikum im Bereich Modellierung und Simulation von Produktionsanlagen

The Fraunhofer Society is seeking an intern to work in the IIOT-Steuerungen and technical cybernetics department in Dresden, developing machine-like methods and solutions for Industry 4.0. The intern will work with physics-based simulation tools and software for virtual commissioning, and will be responsible for modeling and simulating production facilities and processes.

Requirements

• Matriculation in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology, or comparable subjects
• Fluent German or English knowledge in word and writing
• High level of initiative and team spirit
• Analytical thinking, motivation, and enthusiasm for interdisciplinary tasks
• Experience in modeling and simulation of technical systems
• Basic understanding of the electromechanical construction of production machines
• Programming knowledge is an advantage
• Structured working method and documentation ability
