The Fraunhofer Society is seeking an intern to work in the IIOT-Steuerungen and technical cybernetics department in Dresden, developing machine-like methods and solutions for Industry 4.0. The intern will work with physics-based simulation tools and software for virtual commissioning, and will be responsible for modeling and simulating production facilities and processes.
Requirements
- Matriculation in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology, or comparable subjects
- Fluent German or English knowledge in word and writing
- High level of initiative and team spirit
- Analytical thinking, motivation, and enthusiasm for interdisciplinary tasks
- Experience in modeling and simulation of technical systems
- Basic understanding of the electromechanical construction of production machines
- Programming knowledge is an advantage
- Structured working method and documentation ability
