Job Description
Geeks on Site is seeking a skilled On-Call IT Field Technician to provide remote support to customers' computers, networks, and printers. The role involves troubleshooting, repairing, and configuring devices, with flexible scheduling and opportunities to work locally or remotely. Successful applicants will be dispatched to customer sites and provided job opportunities based on location and availability.
Requirements
- 2+ years of field IT support experience, including computer and printer work
- Familiarity with Canon, HP, and other common printer brands
- Knowledge of error code troubleshooting (e.g., Canon code 1700, boot issues, driver conflicts)
- Experience with both Windows (10/11) and macOS troubleshooting
- Personal tools (bootable USB, screwdriver set, etc.)
- Reliable vehicle and valid driver's license
- Smartphone with camera and data for documentation and communication
