Job Description
Genesis Orthopedics & Sports Medicine is seeking a detail-oriented Remote Third-Party Liability (TPL) & Medical Records Specialist to oversee and settle case tracking, process medical records, and identify relevant cases. This role involves revenue recovery, HIPAA compliance, and maintaining accurate documentation. The specialist will interact with attorneys, insurance companies, and healthcare providers.
Requirements
- 2+ years experience in medical records, revenue cycle, or TPL case management (preferred)
- Strong skills in Epic EMR, Microsoft Office, and insurance portals
- Understanding of HIPAA, PHI, medical records processing, TPL/subrogation laws, and healthcare revenue cycle workflows
- Strong communication skills for interacting with various stakeholders
- Ability to track multiple cases, deadlines, and requests
- Detail-oriented with the ability to track multiple cases with precision.
