Job Description
This role is for a Lead Wrangler for a girl scout camp and involves overseeing horse program, caring for horses and farm animals, assisting with various camp tasks, and ensuring a high-quality experience for guests and staff. The Wrangler is responsible for program instruction, camper guidance, and overall camp operations, especially assisting with equine and farm animal health and safety. They also support cabin and other departmental needs.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED and at least one year of college or equivalent work experience.
- Current or willingness to obtain First Aid/CPR, Child Abuse Mandated Reporter, Universal Standard Precautions, and Medication Administration certifications.
- Documented experience in supervision and leadership of peers and/or staff.
- Proven experience in western riding skills.
- Current instructor certification (2+ years experience)
