Senior Manager, Sustainability Excellence & Compliance

The Senior Manager, Sustainability Excellence & Compliance will lead a newly formed team in Global Operations to shape the future of sustainability and ensure compliance with rapidly evolving regulations. The role involves guiding the team, ensuring cross-functional collaboration, and translating ESG regulations into business processes. The successful candidate will have a broad range of responsibilities, including leadership, team development, compliance, and regulatory oversight.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in law, Environmental Law, Sustainability, Business Management or other relevant field of study.
• 6+ years of experience working with regulatory compliance or sustainability law in an international context (in-house, consulting, or public sector).
• Ability to analyse and interpret legislation and translate requirements into practical business actions.
• Experience with regulatory monitoring systems (e.g., C2P or similar) and participation in industry or policy monitoring forums.
• Ability to effectively communicate in English (spoken and written) - where candidates with additional language fluency are encouraged to apply.
• Structured, insightful, and detail-oriented with organizational skills
• Project management experience, with ability to manage cross-functional, multi-site initiatives.
• Experience working in a global organization and managing stakeholders and teams across regions.
• Leadership and ability to motivate teams and ensuring change across strategic stakeholders.
• Critical thinking and data-driven mindset. with ability to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Adopts digitalization and is open to learning and applying AI-based solutions in everyday work.
