Job Description
GoGuardian is seeking a Senior Product Legal Counsel to advise on legal issues related to their product and business functions, specifically in the context of educational technology. This role involves advising on data privacy, intellectual property, and other areas within the educational sector. The ideal candidate will be a collaborative and proactive problem solver, capable of providing practical legal guidance to cross-functional teams.
Requirements
- 7+ years of relevant experience in a law firm and/or technology company.
- J.D. from an accredited law school and in active good standing with at least one state bar.
- Knowledgeable and passionate about technology law and policy, privacy law, and schools.
- Practical, business-oriented approach to problem-solving.
- Strong communicator with the ability to distill complex topics into understandable pieces of guidance.
