Job Description
Peloton is seeking a dynamic Sr. Counsel to advise on legal issues impacting their software and connected fitness product teams. The role involves providing guidance on data privacy, AI ethics, user-generated content, and consumer protection. The ideal candidate is a proactive legal professional who can bridge complex legal principles to actionable business strategies.
Requirements
- J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school and membership in good standing of the New York State Bar or ability to register in-house.
- 8+ years of relevant legal experience, with a significant portion in-house.
- Experience providing business-oriented legal/commercial contract evaluation to internal and external clients.
- Strong knowledge of privacy law and related rights.
- Experience advising on global regulations for user-generated content, such as the Digital Services Act and the Online Safety Act.
- Strong command of technical concepts including system architecture and software development lifecycles.
