Job Description
Gorgias is a conversational AI platform for ecommerce that integrates with Shopify. They are looking for a Senior Front End Engineer to build scalable and responsive features that solve real customer problems, optimizing apps for speed and scalability while contributing to a growing ecosystem. The role involves collaboration with Product, Design, and Developers to deliver top-notch features.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience with TypeScript and React
- Knowledge of the frontend stack (CDN, Cache, bundlers, test runners, CI/CD)
- Experience in high-traffic environments
- Comfort balancing frontend and backend needs
- Knowledge of WebSockets and modern async state handling
- Experience with UIs (UI/UX principles)
- Ability to write clean, maintainable code
