Job Description
The athletic trainer is a licensed allied healthcare professional specializing in injury prevention, evaluation, and management for student athletes. The role involves providing outreach athletic training services at schools, working closely with medical staff, and assisting with athlete rehabilitation and return to play. They must have a CAATE accreditation and BOC certification.
Requirements
- Graduate of a CAATE accredited bachelor’s or master’s degree program.
- Current licensure in the state of primary practice.
- Current BLS Certification for the professional mandated.
