Job Description
This RN position at the Guthrie Clinic in Cortland, NY, is a full-time, entry-level-graduate position within the Nurse Profession. Responsibilities include performing the nursing process, direct patient teaching, maintaining standards of professional nursing, and adhering to GCMC’s policies and regulations. It is a Clinical Nurse Specialist role requiring specialty unit experience, particularly in Maternal/Child, ICU, or other relevant fields. A BLS/ACLS certification and current NYS license are essential.
Requirements
- NYS license to perform as a registered professional nurse
- Current BLS/CPR certification required (or within first 30 days of employment)
- Specialty Unit - Maternity – Neonatal Resuscitation Certification within 6 months of employment
- Specialty Unit - ICU- ACLS within 6 months of hire
- Current NYS license to perform as a registered professional nurse
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Current NYS license
- Current specialty nurse license (or equivalent)
