Anaesthesia Assistant Certified

The Saskatchewan Health Authority is seeking a full-time Anesthesia Assistant to provide medical directives to surgical patients under the supervision of the Anesthesiologist. This role involves assisting with surgical patients throughout the day, evening, night, and weekends, with flexible hours and relief options. The position requires a commitment to maintaining current certifications and a strong foundation in clinical procedures.

Requirements

• Current registration or eligibility for registration in Saskatchewan as a Respiratory Therapist or Registered Nurse with critical care experience (preferred)
• Anaesthesia diploma (DA)
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certificate (ACLS)
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support Certificate (PALS)
• Maintain current certifications for endotracheal intubation, peripheral venous cannulation, blood salvaging, arterial cannulation, drug preparation and administration
