Anaesthesia Assistant Certified

The Saskatchewan Health Authority is seeking a Certified Anaesthesia Assistant to participate in the care of surgical patients under the direction of the Anesthesiologist. This role involves providing clinical assistance after normal operating hours and on-call, maintaining high standards of quality assurance, and adjusting therapies as directed. No travel or shift requirements are specified.

Requirements

• Anaesthesia diploma (DA)
• Current registration or eligibility for registration as a Respiratory Therapist or Registered Nurse with critical care experience
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
• Competencies: Communication skills, Ability to work independently and in a team, Self-motivation and responsibility, Prioritization skills, Composure, and therapeutic skills for after hours support
