Anaesthesia Assistant Certified

This full-time, five-shift position within the Operating Room at Pasqua Hospital in Regina, Saskatchewan is seeking an Anaesthesia Assistant certified professional. The role involves providing medical direction to the Anesthesiologist, assisting the surgeon and ensuring the quality of patient care. No travel is required.

Requirements

• Current registration or eligibility for registration in the province of Saskatchewan as a Respiratory Therapist or Registered Nurse with critical car experience (preferred)
• Anesthesia diploma (DA)
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certificate (ACLS)
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support Certificate (PALS)
• Maintain current certifications for endotracheal intubation, peripheral venous cannulation, blood salvaging, arterial cannulation, drug preparation and administration
• Maintain current certifications for skills like communication, prioritization, and composure
