Job Description
The Social Capital Engineer will be responsible for the successful implementation of the Green Business Belt Cuenca del Río Cahabón, strengthening local organizational structures and their development capabilities in managing public and private investments in the agroforestal value chains. This role focuses on supporting organizations in San Pedro Carchá and San Agustín Lanquín.
Requirements
- Closed curriculum or equivalent 6th semester approved
- Bachelor level in an agricultural engineering, business administration, Psychology, pedagogy, or related studies
- Minimum 3 years of community work experience
- Experience with organizations' strengthening or social capital models
- Experience with MiPymes or community market groups
- Experience in strengthening organizations on accountability or accounting management
- Current valid license for a two-wheeled vehicle
- Experience working with organized groups
- Q’eqchi’ language skills
