Certified Athletic Trainer, per diem (Outreach)

This Certified Athletic Trainer position, with a per diem rate of $28.69/hour to $40.75/hour, provides community outreach athletic training services for high school athletes and events in the local area. The role involves clinical setting duties, as well as potential travel. ATC responsibilities include injury assessment, documentation, supervision, and community outreach.

Requirements

• Completed Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree with a focus in Athletic Training.
• Current unencumbered Athletic Trainer license/registration.
• Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) certification from the NATABOC.
• American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS certification (preferred within 90 days of hire).
• Proficiency in concussion protocol and return-to-play criteria.
• Knowledge of local, state, and federal rules regarding patient care.
