Managing Counsel, Legislative & Policy

Hims & Hers is seeking a seasoned, business-minded Managing Counsel, Legislative and Policy to lead the legislative and policy-related vertical within the legal team and partner closely with business units across the organization.

Requirements

• Lead the company’s legislative legal function, advising on a broad range of legislative and policy matters
• Provide strategic counsel to the Government Affairs and Communications teams
• Oversee and support the review of talking points, briefings, proactive and reactive legislative initiatives
• Advise on the legal impact of proposed laws, rules, and regulations at the federal, state, and international level
• Collaborate with the Government Affairs team on various federal and state policy strategies
• Manage outside counsel when needed
• Mentor and manage a team of legislative counsel and legal professionals
