Federal Business Development Manager

Hirsch is a global leader in physical security seeking a Federal Business Development Manager to drive revenue growth within the Federal Government sector. This role requires a sales professional with a proven track record in selling to government entities, developing strategic plans, and building strong customer relationships. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of security concepts and be adept at consultative selling methodologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of security concepts and technologies.
• Expertise in consultative selling and solution selling methodologies.
• Proficient in using CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong presentation skills and data-driven approach.
• 7+ years of sales experience selling complex electronic or SaaS solutions to the federal government.
• Demonstrated history of sales success (President’s Club or similar recognition).
• Ability to travel up to 50%.
• Proficient in both enterprise software and hardware solutions.
• Strong team-oriented values.
