Job Description
Howmet Aerospace Inc. is seeking an Inspection Services Process Owner to lead their team in LaPorte, Indiana, responsible for maintaining quality standards, ensuring safe working environments, and supporting department schedules. The role involves using structured light metrology (SLM) to analyze castings, interpret blueprints, and report inspection results to customers and internal requirements. Requirements
- Establish workflow schedule for department
- Advise technical managers with unexpected workload increases
- Interpret blueprints and instructions
- Utilize analysis software (GOM, ATOS, Siemens NX, Geomagic, Polyworks)
- Practice GD&T applications (datum structure, surface/line, tolerance)
- Utilize basic and advanced metrology equipment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel)
