Job Description
Howmet Aerospace is seeking a Metallurgical Inspector at its Fullerton, CA location to inspect aerospace product after final processing. The role involves sampling, dimensional inspection, creating non-conforming reports, and reviewing 3rd party certification. The position is crucial in ensuring product conformity to customer requirements and using various inspection tools and equipment.
Requirements
- Performing appropriate sampling plan per customer requirements
- Dimensional Inspection and Acceptance
- Visual Inspection and Acceptance
- Receiving Inspection and Acceptance
- Review of 3rd Party Certification of Compliance Documentation
- Using hand tooling such as micrometers, microscopes, calipers, and thread gages
- Use sampling plans, drawings, work instructions, industry standards and specification to verify conformance of product acceptance
