Job Description
Howmet Aerospace is seeking a Product Engineer to join their team in La Porte, Indiana. The role focuses on dimensional integrity of investment castings, including tooling acquisition, fixture design, and process improvement. This position involves analyzing root causes of issues, developing cost reduction initiatives, and ensuring efficient manufacturing processes. Requirements
- Investigates and analyzes root cause of defects
- Defines and implements control plans and FMEA
- Evaluates defects and dimensional integrity of components
- Defines and implements cost reduction activities
- Develops production processes and collects and analyzes data for cost reduction
- Attends NPI meetings and provides input on BOM, routings, and milestone plans
