Job Description
Howmet Aerospace Inc. is seeking a Product Engineer to join their LaPorte, Indiana facility, which supplies jet engine components to aerospace companies. The role involves ensuring dimensional integrity of investment cast parts, identifying process improvement opportunities, and leading cost reduction initiatives. The engineer will also be involved in design reviews and prototyping.
Requirements
- Investigates and analyzes root cause of external customer escapes.
- Develops and implements corrective action plans.
- Evaluates defects and dimensional integrity of components.
- Defines and implements control plans and FMEA.
- Collects & analyzes data to identify, institute, and monitor cost reduction efforts.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
