Cloud Engineer

As a Cloud Engineer, you will provide technical support to global customers using Huawei Cloud and Huawei Cloud Stack services, ensuring the smooth operation of private and hybrid cloud environments. This role involves delivering reliable, secure, and scalable cloud solutions and developing expertise in cloud operations and virtualization. The position requires on-site project support in different countries and offers an opportunity to work on rapidly growing platforms.

Requirements

• Experience with private cloud or Huawei Cloud Stack (HCS) environments
• Candidate must have migration project experience Cloud to Cloud (AWS, GCP, Azure) or on-prem to Cloud
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve customer issues
• Collaborate with engineering and reliability teams
• Summarize technical documentation
• Conduct enablement training
• Maintain effective communication
• Participate in on-call rotations
• Provide technical consulting and support
• Hands-on experience with cloud deployment and migration between different vendors
• Basic knowledge of general cloud concepts (HUAWEI Cloud, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
• Experience with Linux and Windows operating systems
• Experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash)
• Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL database systems
• Understanding of DevOps principles
• Eagerness to learn new technologies
• Good command of written and spoken English
