Job Description
We are seeking a Child and Youth Worker to provide temporary system navigation and counselling support to patients and their families to successfully re-integrate into the community. The successful candidate will work with children and youth up to 19 years of age with mental health and addiction challenges.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of recent Mental Health experience
- Diploma in Child and Youth Work or equivalent from recognized college
- Working knowledge of the Mental Health Act, Family Services Act, Criminal Youth Justice Act
- CPR or BCLS certification
- The Ontario Assocation of Child and Youth Care (OACYC) membership
