Informa Markets is seeking a Business Development Manager to join a successful conference team and sell sponsorship packages internationally. The role involves maximizing revenue through sponsorship sales, developing relationships with decision-makers, and identifying new business opportunities. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in sales, preferably in conferences, with a proven track record of winning new business and successfully managing accounts.
Requirements
- Minimum 3-5 years of sales experience, preferably in conferences
- Proven track record of winning new business and successfully managing accounts
- Able to sell on concept and provide a consultative sales approach
- Integrity and a strong work ethic
- Genuine interest in and desire to contribute to the world's evolving energy future
- Ability to travel globally and work remotely
- Language skills - Spanish (desirable but not essential)
- Experience with CRM (Salesforce) (desirable but not essential)
- Excellent closer of business and market knowledge (EV, Solar, Energy Storage)
- Ability to work self-motivated and independently
