Job Description
The Housing Navigator supports the Insight Housing Family Rehousing Program by engaging with landlords, property managers, and program participants to provide housing resources and advocacy. The position involves identifying and providing housing resources, negotiating rental agreements, and assisting participants with lease agreements and move-ins.
Requirements
- High school required
- Bachelor's degree in Social Services or related field a plus
- 1 year experience providing direct support services to individuals experiencing homelessness, mental health, substance abuse or other social issues strongly preferred
- Ability to complete CPR/First Aid Training
- Valid California driver license, reliable personal vehicle, current personal auto insurance as required by law, and an MVR sufficient to obtain and reasonably maintain insurability under agency auto liability policies
