Job Description
Intercom is seeking a Staff Frontend Engineer to build and evolve the foundations of their frontend platform, focusing on React development and scaling performance. This role involves mentoring, driving architectural decisions, and shaping the engineering culture, working alongside engineering and product leadership to deliver impactful solutions. Requirements
- 8+ years of professional experience building high-quality web applications.
- Deep expertise in JavaScript, React, TypeScript, and modern frontend tooling.
- Strong foundation in web fundamentals (HTML, CSS, performance, accessibility).
- Experience leading initiatives and shaping technical strategy.
- Proven ability to deliver on ambiguous, high-stakes projects.
