Job Description
We are seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to maintain and ensure continuous operation of a critical distribution building and all its systems. The ideal candidate will have experience in mechanical systems, dock doors and related equipment, conveyors, specialized packaging equipment, plumbing, electrical, lighting, and fire/life safety systems.
Requirements
- High school diploma or state equivalent
- Valid state driver’s license
- Two years of related trade schooling or equivalent experience
- Skilled and physically able to operate electric hand tools, work on ladders, carry tools, lift and carry heavy loads, and operate required equipment
- Ability to complete written documentation
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent oral and written communication abilities
- Understanding of BMS (Building Management Systems) and CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems)
