Job Description
This Home Health Speech-Language Pathologist position involves evaluating, planning and administering comprehensive speech therapy to patients with speech, voice, language, cognitive-communicative, and oral-pharyngeal swallowing disorders in their homes. The role requires accuracy in assessments, communication with other healthcare team members and the HHA office, and adherence to patient safety standards.
Requirements
- Master's or Doctoral Graduate in Speech Therapy or Speech Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current valid state SLP license
- 350 clock hours of supervised clinical practicum
- Successful completion of national speech-language pathology exam
- One year of full-time home health services after a master's degree
