Job Description
Kimley-Horn's Overland Park, Kansas office is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer or Analyst to join their Power Delivery team. This role involves designing and optimizing electrical systems, participating in project teams, preparing specifications, and conducting quality work. The position requires strong communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Requirements
- Design of electrical systems including solar, battery storage, electric vehicle charging and building electrical
- Participation on project teams in an active production role
- Preparation of project specifications
- Preparation of electrical construction cost estimates
- Coordination and verification of as-built drawings
- Performance of quality work that promotes client retention
- Development of reports and design documents, including electrical design plans, equipment selection, solar system sizing, and power analyses.
