Materials Testing and Inspection Business Development Leader

Kleinfelder is seeking a Materials Testing and Inspection Business Development Manager to help drive growth throughout the San Diego Region. In this position, you will be responsible for leading business development activities for our Construction Materials Engineering and Testing service line across multiple markets, meeting with clients and teaming partners, participating in professional external organizations, identifying new opportunities, planning and positioning, preparing qualification packages, leading shortlist interviews, and working with leadership on delivering sales targets.

Requirements

• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
• Able to communicate effectively with a variety of people
• Customer service oriented
• Excellent time management skills
• Experience with CRM is highly desirable; Deltek preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or construction management desired
• 10+ years of related experience with 5+ years of professional marketing and/or sales experience with a consulting engineering firm or related business
