Kleinfelder's Design team is looking for an experienced Engineering group Lead to expand and lead our Design Services Group within Kleinfelder’s Mountain Area. The role will provide strategic and technical leadership for multidisciplinary design teams and drive team growth and development.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering required; Master’s degree or MBA preferred
- Professional Registration Required
- Minimum 12+ years of professional experience, including 5–7 years in a managerial or leadership role
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams, foster a positive and collaborative culture, provide clear direction, and make informed decisions
- Strong knowledge of project controls, including estimating, scheduling, risk management, and cost control
- Proven experience providing project management and technical leadership across multiple concurrent projects
- Experience in strategic planning and execution to support the growth of engineering practices
- Demonstrated success in business development, including preparing qualifications, cost proposals, and contract negotiations
- Recognized Subject Matter Expert with the ability to provide technical review and oversight of work performed by engineering staff
