Job Description
LawnStarter is seeking a Principal Software Engineer to lead projects and contribute to the development of their outdoor home services platform. The role offers remote work, flexibility, and the opportunity to impact the company's growth in the $100B+ outdoor services industry. The ideal candidate will have experience in full-stack development and a strong understanding of cloud technologies.
Requirements
- Experienced in server-side and client-side software development
- Familiarity with cloud development (AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure)
- Proficient in SQL and NoSQL databases
- Comfortable working with cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS Lambda, ECS, EKS, Aurora)
- Understanding of Big O notation, pointers, and composition vs. inheritance
- Passionate about clean code and quality/reliability
