Job Description
Lifelong Access is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to work in their Supported Living program, providing crucial support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) in their homes and communities. DSPs are integral to the community for individuals with IDD, assisting with daily living, skill-building, and overall life fulfillment. Lifelong Access offers a supportive and growth-oriented environment.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Desire to make a difference in the lives of individuals with disabilities
- Attention to detail
- High level of Integrity
- High level of Trustworthiness and Reliability
- Strong interpersonal skills
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to complete)
- Valid Illinois driver’s license with safe driving record
- Current proof of automobile insurance
- Physical Demands (standing, walking, sitting, lifting up to 50lbs, stooping, bending, etc.)
