Job Description
Los Angeles Center of Nose Throat and Allergy (LA CENTA) is seeking a friendly and helpful Medical Receptionist. This role is the first point of contact for patients and is responsible for providing a positive experience. The ideal candidate will be a representative of the organization and a valuable member of the team.
Requirements
- Welcomes and greets patients and visitors, answering or referring inquiries.
- Verifies insurance/eligibility and ensures proper forms are completed.
- Verifies patient demographics and insurance information.
- Records outcome of procedures and schedules appointments.
- Keeps patient accounts and provides emergency assistance.
- Maintains confidentiality of patient information.
