Job Description
This part-time Position is for a Monitor Technician (PRN) responsible for supporting the nursing process through EKG monitoring of patients. Responsibilities include monitoring EKG rhythms, documenting patient records, maintaining monitoring equipment, and addressing clinical emergencies. The role requires competency in Telemetry Unit procedures and demonstrates patient care standards.
Requirements
- Completion of an EKG course
- High School Diploma/GED
- Competency in Telemetry Unit procedures (refer to McLeod Health Organizational Learning Competency Checklist)
