Freelance AI Red Team Engineer

Mindrift is seeking an AI Red Team Engineer to help shape the future of AI by evaluating and testing vulnerabilities in generative AI models. This role involves creating automated tests, leading security research, and advising on cybersecurity best practices. The position is remote and requires a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field, advanced English proficiency, and proficiency in scripting/automation tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Cybersecurity, Digital Forensics or related field
• Advanced English proficiency (C1+)
• Proficiency in Python, Bash, or PowerShell
• Experience with Docker
• Experience with penetration testing across various environments
• Knowledge of AI security vulnerabilities (prompt injections, OWASP Top 10)
• Experience with AI/ML security, evaluation, and red teaming
• Skilled in reverse engineering using tools like Ghidra
