Job Description
The Bioinformatician II will partner with researchers from Mount Sinai Genetics and Genomic Sciences on genomic analyses of structural variation, epigenetics, and gene expression. This role involves developing and supporting research projects, managing databases, conducting analysis, and collaborating with wet-bench biologists. The position focuses on data processing and impact analysis using microarrays and high-throughput sequencing.
Requirements
- Develops and may perform a lead role for a variety of bioinformatics analysis projects.
- Writes custom scripts for analysis of genomic data.
- Manages databases, conducts statistical and genomic analysis, and participates in manuscripts and presentations.
