Job Description
NewsBreak is a content intelligence platform seeking a Legal Counsel to advise business teams on commercial agreements. The role involves drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, providing legal guidance in areas like product compliance, data privacy, and litigation. Requirements
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admitted to practice in California; candidates admitted in other jurisdictions with in-house eligibility may be considered.
- 3+ years of relevant legal experience with a law firm and/or in-house legal department.
- Strong drafting, analytical, and negotiation skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills across departments.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and high‐priority legal tasks in a fast-paced environment.
