Job Description
NIOZ is seeking an AUV-Technician to join their Marine Robotics group. The role involves deploying, configuring, and developing autonomous underwater vehicles (AUVs) and other systems within the robotics department. The successful candidate will have experience with AUVs, ROVs, and instrument pools, as well as good problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team.
Requirements
- HBO-level education in Maritime Engineering, Maritime Officer, Electrical Engineering, Ocean Technology (Hydrography), or a similar field
- Experience as a marine equipment technician
- Good problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with the team
- Organizational skills
- Willingness to travel and work in locations around the world
