Job Description
Nominal is seeking an Area Director of Sales to drive their go-to-market success by building a team and cultivating relationships with hardware-centric organizations in aerospace, defense, and industrial automation. This role involves managing complex deals, defining value propositions, and building a sales strategy within a collaborative environment. The director will own key accounts and contribute to the company's overall sales strategy.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in leadership, with sales experience preferred
- Solution selling approach, understanding customer org charts
- Technical fluency in understanding engineers/architects
- Relationship-building skills and ability to align stakeholders
- Industry familiarity with data, infrastructure, or development platforms
- Experience with data proficiency tools
- Degree or experience in mechanical engineering or similar field
