Job Description
Nominal is a software infrastructure company specializing in enabling hardware systems. They are seeking an Area Director to drive go-to-market success for their software platform into aerospace, defense, and industrial automation companies. This is a sales-focused role, not a traditional SaaS sales position, requiring deep technical relationships and strategic account management.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in leadership, particularly in enterprise or strategic sales.
- Solution seller mindset with outcome-oriented sales approach.
- Comfortable communicating with engineers and IT leaders.
- Technical fluency with data, infrastructure, or developer platforms.
- Experience selling into industrial/manufacturing, aerospace, defense, or heavy industry.
- Ability to lead a high-performance sales org.
