Community Ambassador – Inter Professional Care Team

We are seeking a Community Ambassador who will build strong community connections, foster trust, promote programs and services, and support vulnerable and marginalized populations in accessing care.

Requirements

• Secondary school diploma or equivalent work experience
• Experience working in community outreach, peer navigation, or health promotion roles
• Lived experience related to community health, mental health and addictions, or navigating systems of care
• Comfort facilitating group discussions, outreach activities, and one-on-one support in community settings
• Ability to build trust and establish supportive, culturally safe relationships with community members
• Demonstrated ability to be flexible, organized, a self-starter, and possess excellent problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in the use of computers and Microsoft Office
• Valid driver's license or ability to travel to local sites and events
