We are looking for two Waste Site Supervisors to assist with the management of waste operations and waste transfer at our Recycling and Household Waste Sites (RHWS) and Waste Transfer Stations (WTS). The successful candidates will have waste supervisory experience and enjoy working with people and looking after the environment.
Requirements
- Valid Certificate of Technical Competence or the desire to gain this qualification within a reasonable time
- Level 3 First Aid at Work, First Response or equivalent or the desire to gain this qualification within a reasonable time
- Good experience in the management of waste operations
- Supervisory experience in the waste management industry or a similar workplace
- Good communication skills and ability to negotiate, resolve issues, and achieve successful outcomes
- Good knowledge of site operations and environmental maintenance/compliance, and strong knowledge of Health and Safety on waste sites
- Experience in the use of Microsoft packages, standard IT equipment, and industry standard software
- Good organisational and interpersonal skills and ability to prioritise effectively
- Ability to travel to locations across the County as required

- Annual salary £28,605 - £31,029 per annum
- £100 per month non-contractual retention payment after successful completion of probation
