We are looking for a Vice President, Corporate Finance to provide strategic direction and oversight of the Corporate Finance function in alignment with Oaktree's goals and objectives. The successful candidate will have over 15+ years of work experience in GCC or Banking/Financial services industry and be a qualified CPA / Chartered Accountant.
Requirements
- Provide strategic direction and oversight of the Corporate Finance function
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of Corporate Finance processes
- Develop financial projections and coordinate the firmwide budgeting process
- Analyze investment group profitability and prepare revenue, expense and non-GAAP metric reporting for senior management and Brookfield
- Lead and manage large-scale projects, including system implementations and process transformations
- Provide direction to the Corporate Finance team and set priorities
- Ensure compliance with US GAAP, SOX, and other regulatory requirements
- Proactively identify potential work bottlenecks or peaks in work volume and identify plans to ensure the team is able to meet agreed upon deadlines
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders
- Provide leadership and mentorship to the Corporate Finance team
