The Senior Technical Engineer will provide advanced support for Microsoft technologies (Azure, Windows Server, Active Directory, SCOM, SQL Server, and Hyper-V). They will design, implement, and maintain enterprise IT infrastructure, troubleshoot complex issues, and mentor junior engineers. This role involves collaboration with the department lead and delivering high-quality support services.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- 6–8 years of hands-on experience in infrastructure support or systems engineering.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Azure (VMs, ASR, Defender, identity, and networking).
- Deep knowledge of Windows Server (2012–2022) and Active Directory (GPOs, DNS, Sites & Services).
- Strong hands-on experience with SCCM (deployment, patching, compliance).
- Solid understanding of SCOM (monitoring, alert tuning, custom dashboards).
- Experience with SQL Server administration (installation, tuning, backup/restore).
- Hyper-V expertise (VM creation, replication, clustering).
- PowerShell scripting for automation and task optimization.
