Principal Member of Technical Staff

Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is seeking a Principal Member of Technical Staff to join the Security Products Group, focusing on building secure cloud environments and protecting customers' data. The role involves designing and developing components of the Cloud Infrastructure, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and addressing the challenges of reliability, performance, and cybersecurity in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• 6+ years distributed service engineering experience in a software development environment
• Experience driving feature design reviews and working with Product Managers
• Strong development experience in Java, C++, C#, or similar OO languages
• Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, operating systems, and distributed systems fundamentals
• Working familiarity with networking protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP) and standard network architectures
• Good understanding of databases, NoSQL systems, storage and distributed persistence technologies
