Job Description
Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is seeking a Principal Member of Technical Staff to join the Security Products Group. The team focuses on building robust security products and services to protect customers' cloud environments, using a proactive, data-driven approach to detection, threat mitigation, and remediation. They offer a chance to contribute to a secure cloud platform and improve customer confidence in Oracle Cloud.
Requirements
- 6+ years distributed service engineering experience in a software development environment
- Experience driving feature design reviews, documentation, UX reviews, and working with Product Managers
- Strong development experience in Java, C++, C#, or similar OO languages
- Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, operating systems, and distributed systems fundamentals
- Working familiarity with networking protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP)
- Good understanding of databases, NoSQL systems, storage and distributed persistence technologies
- Experience building multi-tenant, virtualized infrastructure
